Underground Hip Hop

Underground Hip Hop Interviews: Pestilence, Hip Hop's Apothecary

Pestilence is an artist that spits from the heart and goes off what he feels when he hears a beat. He is also very involved in Hip Hop coming out of Wisconsin. He is a part of one of the biggest Hip Hop movements in Cyphaden Music that involves, Taiyamo Denku, Urban Legend, and Rambuxious (respectively). He is also involved with that includes; JEX, V.A.D., a dark path, Ben Luten, Sheol Dynasty, Chump Serivce, and Space Kase. Both movements are potent in their own right and out of Wisconsin, the most unlikely of places and they are all loyal to their locale refusing to move and make it somewhere else eventhough it may be the better decison for their musical careers.

Underground Hip Hop Interviews: M-Dot (of EMS), The Evolution of a Real MC

M-Dot is an Italian-American MC, producer, and engineer that grew up in the Boston area of Massachusetts. He also had aspirations on the basketball court, playing in college for BHCC, MCLA, and Fitchburg State. You can see the two intersect in his mindset on how he plays hard in the paint on the court of Hip Hop with some of the dopest artists and producers to ever grace a track. He honed his craft in the US before taking it on the road to Europe where they still heavily bump Boom Bap unlike the US where Hip Hop's tree is ever growing and expanding.

Underground Hip Hop Interviews: Cuban Pete, MC From Across The Pond

Cuban Pete was born in 1975, in the Midlands of the UK. He now resides in the North East region of the UK (closer to the border of Scotland) where he gives all his magic to the artform of Boom Bap Hip Hop. He started off as an open mic performer and soon transitioned into a recording artist. But his talents don't stop there, he also provides cover art for other people's albums and runs his own blog as well (in which he uses to builds a community of artists and for the Hip Hop culture). He mostly works with US artists, which is a surprise, because the UK has a wide variety of Hip Hop talent.

Underground Hip Hop Interviews: Ginsing: A Hip Hop Chemist

Canada is rich with Hip Hop culture being close to New York and Toronto-area with just really Lake Ontario separating them (and roughly an 8-hour drive as well), is no different. The release of "Northern Touch" in 1998 by the Rascalz really started to wake up Canada to the ways of Hip Hop music (especially commercially). It also featured other Vancouver and Toronto-area  heavy weights Kardinal Offishall, Checkmate, Thrust and Choclair.  Who all became the collective, Northern Touch All Stars.

Underground Hip Hop Interviews: Eclyse: Music is Life

Jacksonville Florida, not being an area really known for Hip Hop has definitely left some sort of footprint in the culture. When it comes to trap music (which basically carries the torch for Hip Hop in the current mainstream depending upon who you ask), there is quite a bit coming out of the region, artists like Nardo Wick, Foolio, YungeenAce, and SpotemGottem (to name a few). In the past, the club hit "Tootsee Roll" by 69 Boyz was introduced to the world in 1996. But it was Cash Money Records that brought a major influence to the area. It gave them a grittier and more street sound that fit this new generation a bit more comfortably.

Hip Hip Interviews of the Underground: Tha Soloist: An Underground Hip Hop Shepard

Tha Soloist takes his art seriously and it is a direct reflection of how he thinks and feels. He's from New Jersey, born and raised, just a stone throw from New York. He lives and breathes Hip Hop. He is a rebel towards the majority's reliance on having a "meaningless" nine to five type job (one that brings to life, in many cases, a continuous outcome of unhappiness in one's life).  His music centers on the trials and tribulations of life (i.e the struggles). He started writing poems and drawing before he ever touched the mic. He liked conveying his thoughts on life into words which ultimately led to the mic.

Hip Hop Interviews of the Underground: Donny G, A Diverse Perspective of an Underground MC

Donny G is one of the most diverse artist you will come across when it pertains to an underground MC. He not only raps; he also produces, plays multiple instruments, and is also the lead vocalist and instrumentation to Anguish (a death metal project he does with a frequent collaborator in producer, BK Bonez).  His hip-hop catalog ranges from vicious and dark to upbeat, introspective and deep. His style could be described as a cross between intelligence and insanity, with a garnish of pain. This gives him a unique plot of land that he stands on, he's not afraid to try any type of style of song or project.

Hip Hop Interviews of the Underground: Part 1 of 2, Stanton Capitol Recordings ft. Danny Fantom

Worcester has a deep history of Hip Hop as well as a flourishing future. With Joyner Lucas being one of the biggest names in Hip Hop, Worcester keeps showing up on the radar as a bright green blip. Stanton Capitol Recordings is a big local act that has turned into a movement with their continued community outreach (and their undying musical talents). With their big year in 2021 full of releases from the group as a whole, I can only imagine what is in store for 2022. They have already kicked off a show with Akrobatik and released a few singles.

Hip Hop Interviews from the Underground: Freddie Black, a Rhode Island Independent MC Powerhouse

Rhode Island is the smallest state in the United States, which as an artist, comes with its own challenges. As Freddie Black put it, "most people think we are part of New York." But it is far from being like New York in anyway, it is quite unknown, the biggest city is Providence with a population at around 190,000 and the next biggest city, Cranston has about 83,000 people.

Hip Hop Interviews from the Underground: Enter Bo Faat's Hip Hop Mo Gwoon

BoFaat was born in Germany in 1970 to a father who was a vinyl collector that had a vast collection that was a big influence on his love for music. Hip Hop was introduced to him on TV and in various pop culture magazines in the early 80s. Before Hip Hop, he was introduced to martial arts, which is still a love of his to this day (along with Hip Hop of course).

Hip Hop Interviews of the Underground: Marz One, A Desert on the Mic

Marz One is not just an MC, he is also a multi-instrumentalist. He was born in Tuscon, Arizona in February of 1997 and later moved to Silver City, New Mexico.  Being that he was born out of the desert, he knows heat (not just the heat he possesses on the mic). When he is on the mic, you could say he is heat personified cause when he opens his mouth pure lyrical heat emits like an exploding volcano casting out molten lava (like a mage) laying out all over the instrumental drying to leave his presence on it.

Hip Hop Interviews of the Underground: Bleach, The Humble Hollander

Utrecht is the fourth largest city in the Netherlands with renowned nightlife and a historic city center. It is a large city that keeps the charm of a village with veins of canals that spread out around within her limits. It's not much of a surprise that a man named Kees Maas aka Bleach (a Hip Hop lyricist since 1997) was born and raised inside her warm embrace from cub to now.

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "Doldrums" by Eclyse X Mike Martinez

Eclyse and Mike Martinez are both busy on this Hip Hop game. It only makes sense that these guys come together and make an EP. Level-wise, I think they understand what each are trying to do which makes this a great effort by the both of them. They complement each other well and bring sounds that make this coupling interesting to listen to. Eclyse is never afraid to look inside himself and show you who he is and Mike Martinez is never afraid to bring sounds and samples that give each project a sound of layered originality. Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha is always willing to give the culture a hand (pretaining to the mixing and mastering), especially when his fellow Voodoo Doctorz mate is a part of the project. I especially like the guitars chosen in the samples from the production. Mike Martinez also offers this project his vocals to it too, which is on "Unexplained" that is compartmentalized well lyrically and the feature brings a matching personality to his song and does a good job on being the project.  The sounds of this project are very earthy and organic with the choice of the bass drums and instrumentation, in general. My favorite track was "Toxic Love", because I could really feel it and relate to it on a personal level (we all go through this sort of thing in our young lives).

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "ArticulatedTexTiles" by Video Dave X Controller 7

"What began in January 2022 as an idea to maybe do a couple songs or an EP quickly became a full length project with the only stated guideline being a shared love for Prince Paul and the Native Tongues movement. Dave -traveling constantly for work and music tours- visited no less than 60 cities in 10 different countries while working on the album, while Controller 7 kept a steady supply of beats in Dave’s inbox. Controller 7 suggested prompts when he had them, or tried sampling things Dave suggested. The trove of beats allowed Dave to pick and choose from an outsized variety of beats and go wherever he wanted sonically. The album became all kinds of different things, travel reflections, personal mantras, letters to self, and fun with words- all held together by Dave's point of view, and Controller 7’s unpredictable sounds. Dave tells a story of Prince Paul casually, saying if he and Mike would have been around back in the Native Tongue days that they would have been in the crew. This album is the album that comes out of Dave visiting that dream world and making a project that can somehow fit in the family of his favorites." --from Bandcamp description.

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "Rap Artifacts" by Edo.G & Mr. Skip

This album is dope in the ilk of an East Coast classic. It is mostly produced by Edo.G and Mr. Skip with some produced by lordMixer. It possess a lot of good flavors but one thing is for sure they stay focused on bringing you high tiered Hip Hop. It's a lyrical elephant stompin' on your ear drums with each lyric spit over the beat and each thump of the bass and each slap of the snare. They spit about life and songs like "Boutchu" have dope wordplay around the sample in a creative manner and "Excuses" is a hard-hitting song that hits you like a Hagler hook. It even has that RNB flavor with "All in the Family" that features vocals by Ryan Toby.

New Underground Hip Hop -Bandcamp Movement: "Black Jesus" by Pete Pluto

First time listening to this kat Pete Pluto and he is definitely otherworldly on the abstract tip (at times). But he's also lyrical and very skilled with the pen. His imagery and songs are all well-thought-out (so it appears). His rhyme schemes and wordplay is all New York, he definitely pays homage to all those that came before him in the styles he has learned from listening to the greats. Most of this project is produced by Kappy D with a song thrown in produced by Danger Mouse and Talaj Kvmi. It's a good listen, check it out!

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "The Worst, Bad, And Ugly" by Emerg Da MC X Killz Beatz

A dope EP by Emerg Da MC and Killz Beatz that is full of high energy schematics that are backed up by his signature adlibs that are more original than Werthers. The subject matter is all Hip Hop, life, bars, music, observations, and references. I truly believe that Emerg gets better with every project as he expands his Hip Hop capabilities and uses the tools that he possesses to the fullest. There is no one in Hip Hop today that possesses a package as wide as his that projects a personality that no one can touch. He isn't afraid to take risks and they usually work every time. His confidence in his artistry can be heard with each line that he spits as he rocks the mic. The beats in this project are jazz infused with that classic New York Boom Bap style, each sound carefully crafted with precision making this EP interesting to the ears, the whole way through. It also has two features in OGUN and Lavontry Wright. Check it out!

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "The Boys & Girls EP" by Chuck Strangers

I have never heard of Chuck Strangers until I came across him on Bandcamp and this EP though released in May, deserves the support. Lyrically it is very thought provoking and well-thoughtout. He is part of the Brooklyn Hip Hop group Pro Era which I have listened to due to Joey Bada$$. He is mainly a producer but sometimes drops some lyrics of his own and that is what he does on this project that also features, Navy Blue, Obii, Pink Sifuu, and Fly Anakin. Each beat and each song formulates a story that is as dope as anything you will hear out right now, check it out! You won't be disappointed.

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "The Fly Deathbed" by G Fam Black X A Dusty Cinema (Black Cinema)

G Fam Black and A Dusty Cinema (aka Tha Soloist aka Filthy Heir) come hard af on this project. Lyrically, it is dope in it's own right, nahmean? The beats are all on point and put G Fam on some beat styles he's not accustomed to and he brings the beat what it needs all the time. No production out does him and no rappin' out does the production. They are a good marriage that I think real Hip Hop Heads can appreciate. UglyJon did a great job on taking these two artistic minds and making it make sense in the end with his mixing and mastering. The end result can definitely be loved by those that love these two artists because they did a great job in representing their output and coming together in making a cohesive project. Check it out!

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement - "Hell On Heart / Side C" by Khyezine

Kheyzine keeps pumping out his Hell On Heart series, giving us Side C that is stacked with high tier MCs and beats. Lyrics and schemes make this project filled with cream. Everyone is money in their own way adding their personality and flavors to each track. It is very street poetry heavy on the sinister side of the "do-what-you-gotta-do" type of hustle. There is no shame in what these dudes have to do and had to do to make a living. They killers with that hardcore type of shit that seems to be the thing that moves the vinyl needle stylistic-wise with an exception of O The Great who shows he's no punk but is always on a more lyrical type of mindset with complex sentences and schemes that rival any mic spitter currently out of the underground. The other heavy hitters on this project are; Slum Lord Swigz, Bless Picasso, Mo Rukuz, Grey Phox, D.R.E. Colombian Raw, Deziner Drugz, Postman & Blaze 5th, and INF to complete a dope project through and through for you all to check out. Kheyzine definitely doesn't disappoint on any of his beats and he's becoming a big player in this underground Hip Hop shit. Check it out!

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "Illversablez" by ILLTemper x Versa Tilla x Gamblez x Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha

A dope project to be sure when you get ILLtemper, Versa Tilla, Gamblez, and Skinny Bonez Tha Godfather (who also provides the cuts and mix and mastering) on the beats. The schemes and lyrics are as tough as it gets. They duct tape your mouth leaving you speechless while you listen to this shit with a knife dragged along a sharpening stone. They murder each beat respectively with Marz One adding a nice feature that fits right in - snug. This EP is just a short listen with 5 songs, but it is worth all your support. This project all in all is a good listening experience with one feature in John D. Contradiction. New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "The Year Of The Rabbit" by Cuban Pete & Bo Faat

This album spit by Cuban Pete and beats by the legendary Bo Faat is dope to say the least it starts off with a strong intro that sets the tone for the aggressive lyrical barrage which Cuban Pete does a great job in representing who he is - a beast on the mic. He brings his unapologetic opinions to his tracks and sprays it on his social media. You can see many people dislike his perceived brashness and commentate on it quite often, but you can tell about how he isn't going to change on how he interacts with the web. He brings an old style of smooth flows mixed with a more evolved spit that is reminiscent of most types of Hip Hop lyricists. My favorite tracks seem to gravitate towards the ones that Jabbathakut lays his scratches too. He gets a ton of dope features on this record from Krumbsnatcha, Raf Almighty, Jus-P, Nelson Dialect, OneMike, B. Dvine, and yungL!NK. Bo Faat brings us those dope beats (mixing the album as well) for our ears as The J. Hexx Project provides the  mastering. Check it out!

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "Triple Blackness" by Emerg Da MC prod. Mike Martinez

Emerg Da MC always brings unparalleled energy that is on track in the ilk of ODB and Busta Rhymes and this project is no different. Mike Martinez brings beats that aren't his usual abstract selections by BK Bonez and Kiza G Beats, which is refreshing because he was more focused on the messages and how he was saying. His schemes aren't as advanced on this one as they usually are, but I think theme-wise, he executed this one on a higher level. His street poetry and Hip Hop presence is much more potent on this one than some of his previous projects. I enjoyed the whole journey with "Ghetto Telepathy" being my favorite track off the project. He had good solid features from all who are involved, OGUN, King Bobo, Killz, Anti-Fable and Street Da Villain. Check it out...I think we can all enjoy and appreciate this new music.

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement (Bandcampers): "The Shadow Tape 2" by Killz X Kiza G Beats

This is my first time listening to a Killz project, but Kiza G Beats is not new at all. Killz offers a smooth take on boom bap with a lot of different types of deliveries (upbeat, downbeat, mid-level, etc.) also adding a soulful-reggae type singing voice to give it more textures. His vibrato is very pronounced and practiced. His lyrical is very good as well and his vocals vibe right over the vibes of the instrumentals. He is very good at adlibs as well keeping the vocals interesting the whole way through. He gets a more lyrically direct Emerg Da Mc; who always adds his endless energy on a track (the adlib master). Street Da Villain is also on this one bringing his lyrical talent that is a deep focus on life and his past and present with dope lyrical delivery and schemes. The features of Potent & Jubae on "Can't Surf" match well with the vibes of the album and do the album justice. The last feature falls on Anti-Fable (an abstract lord) does great on his assignment too his constant abstract approach with Killz give this album a nice unexpected curveball, but it fits within the graces of the project. Kiza G Beats delivers with each sound glued to this canvas that all in all works and excels as it's own unique take on boom bap Hip Hop. I really enjoyed listening to this project all the way through. Check it out!

New Underground Hip Hop: Bandcamp Movement: "Oddible Therapy" by Eclyse x Jay Oracle

Another dope album from Eclyse taking on all the vocals on this one tackling lyrical Hip Hop over jazzy boom bap beats provided by Jay Oracle. He shares his life with his audience which includes the struggles of mental health and bad choices- to name a few. His rhymes are always top notch and have a good message for us all to connect to. He rhymes about themes that we all go through; he emphasizes himself as individual in such a vast universe that shows we can all be a big part of it but also that we are small compared to it all. He is on a search for that inner peace that we all crave but is easily eluded. The vibes on this one is definitely a dope one to spark some collard greens to, nahmean? Jay Oracle does an amazing job of making this project flow together as an equal cohesion giving Eclyse a soundscape he doesn't often hop on and it definitely works like gorilla glue. Artwork by Eclyse and mix and mastered by Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha. Check it out, this should be insomnia, don't sleep!

New Underground Hip Hop - Bandcamp Movement: "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" by Filthy Heir

Two dope projects in a row. He is so triumphant in this one, but also shows you that the struggle is never over but the strength to push on is there. Just because some individuals that are wandering the earth seem lost, not all of them are. Talk with them, maybe they just need a spark. Life is always looking for life but at the same time they need something or someone to bring them hope. I think that is what Tha Soloist is trying to convey in this project under the Filthy Heir. I think he showed his humanity in this one and just loves to release his art. His beats are dope and his lyrical is dope. What more do you want? Check it out!

This project is smoking hot, "Gun adlibs/I shoot slugs from the tongue/It bugs me like mosquitos" what a great bar. It shows the state of Boom Bap right now...which is coke rap and machine gun adlibs running ramped all over the place. Coke rap can still be powerful when it is unique to the individual artist's experiences, but biting the "skeeerrt" and machine gun adlib and the "buh buh buh boom" shit is tacky. People killing the culture with this one, Griselda brough eyes to Boom Bap again for ya'll to bite it? Come on, son, be unique and let's light the fire under the originality that Boom Bap offers. Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "LCA (Lemon Citris Acid)" by Grim Moses prod. (mostly) by DIE SWAMBO

As always, Grim Moses is being his grimey underground GOAT self with those underworld raps that doesn't spare anything or anyone like a Dave Chapelle stand-up comedy special. It is crazy, not many people can take this type of gutter subject matter and make you root for an anti-hero like Grim Moses. He's like a straight villain but loved like he's a vigilante. You don't want to hear a knock at the door and see him at the other end, it's probably going to be the last thing you see. He's got a bunch of dope features in, Ca$aBlanca, Muhreds, and Funk Lo. DIE SWAMBO does most of the beats on this one with the exception of Mike Shabbs who takes on three of the beats. It doesn't feel like there is two producers, this project flows seemlessly. Usually New York and Boston rival against each other, but this project cements how working together creates something powerful. Trust me listen to this project, you will not be disappointed. Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Heir 2 Tha Streets" by Street Da Villain prod. by Beat It Up Productions

Street Da Villain hits us with another project in the form of an EP, "Heir 2 Tha Streets" and gives each beat that justice that any producer that works with a lyricist craves (and fan). He gives you a dose of his confidence and the life that he has  experienced. Beat It Up Productions brings samples chopped up like lines of yadidamean that every true HipHopHead fiens for like a junky for their addiction. Street has a lot to offer Hip Hop (he's a consistent Hip Hop content creator, obviously), he has worked with a lot of artists in his own songs but has really tapped into the community I dub "The Bandcampers", featuring on many albums. His pen game is strong as well as his schemes that the beats influence him to perform through his processing of his artistic vision. (In case you didn't know) The Bandcampers are a huge Hip Hop community that relies on social media and Bandcamp to distribute their music. Anyway, now you know...don't sleep on this one. Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "The Mountain Is An Illusion" by Eclyse X Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha

"The Mountain Is An Illusion" by Eclyse X Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha is an ablum full of lyrical bangers. It starts off with chilling guitars that encompasses the idea that the mountains that we all have to climb are an illusion and a struggle (mental and physical). "Picturesque Sky" is a great example of personal struggles that translates to the war that life is. The second track is my personal favorite, each lyrical verse is dope in it's own way and bleeds the differences of a collection of MCs coming together to create an offering on the mantel of Hip Hop. It includes, Eclyse, Ciphurphace, L.E.O., and VersaTilla (all Voodoo Doctorz artists). giving their own accounts to the "Ways of the Warrior". Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "egO anD The eneMy 2: A Dissolute Paradise" by M-Dot

This campfire is blazing from M-Dot, an MC from Boston, Massachusetts. Each word spoken circles the beats like a shark playing with his food. His rhymes, his schemes, and delivery are top notch as always. Included are some of the best producers to grace the sound of Hip Hop in Pete Rock, Black Milk, Apollo Brown, and Erik Sermon. This is an aggressive struggling strangulation on the mic that hits every emotion and observation of the life of an MC and the world that surrounds every Earthly citizen. He touches on inner struggles of mental health and social media and media irrelevance that is unseen by most. It also speaks on how much of a struggle it is for a musician that isn't included in the popular culture of the music world and why he never chose to be defined inside those lines. It's a great album, check it out!

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Rogue Rage" (EP) by O Dawg X Passport Rav(on all the beats)

Put those pillows away cause it isn't time to sleep on O Dawg and Passport Rav on this EP, "Rogue Rage". Passport Rav comes correct on the soundscapes helping you escape the world with good vibes and O Dawg brings that grimey lyrical content that has been quite usual for New York to bring out for the ears of the world for decades. There is also a more new school double time beat that is influenced by that drill vibe.  O Dawg brings a fresh lyrical take on the newer-school-styled beat with some nice schemes layed down on it too. It's a solid EP through and through, I have just been introduced to these two guys recently. Passport Rav because of working with Bloo Azul and O Dawg cause he's working with Rav. I'm glad I found them both because they both dope at this rap game. Check it out!

Mike Titan and Manzu Beatz go hard in the paint on this lyrical treat that reaches high heights that starts out as a campfire but turns into a forest fire by the end. Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "The 333 Album" by Dap Daniel

Is a dope mix of Cali Hip Hop (multi-era-ed), trap, and boom bap- it has it all. Dap Daniel brings high energy lyrical content like he has for many years with the Brohydes out of Richmond, CA. He's an underrated artist who has been dropping high quality music (as well as creating top notch beats) for a very long time and it is no surprise that this album is no different than his catalog (which is potent to say the least). He's got something for everyone, lyrical, party, club, uplifting, and more. Each beat slaps with it's own personality and the production makes the project clear like water in a cup. You are able to hear everything from start to finish. So check it out!

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Brockton's Own" by G Fam Black

It's dope how G Fam Black starts this album off with a history of Brockton being once the world's biggest shoemakers turned to the creation of boxing champions, Marciano & Hagler and the crime-riddled drug dealing streets that it is today. The album features beats from many underground heavy hitters giving the album what it needs for G Fam to take it to the solidified heights that you can always count on his projects to reach. There are no features on this album, it is all ride or die- Brockton's Own. Check it out!

He always takes you on a dark journey on the seedy side of the human consciousness and delivers yet another effort in this ILLtemper-ed realm. BoondAux creates prolific beats that make it easy to navigate through the dark perilous prospects and the production is crystal clear so you can understand and feel every part of it. Check it out!

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Dangerously Healthy" by Vlad Ill x ObscureDwella

This some abstract at it's best...these beats are quiet dope with a focused Trip Hop style elementally with vocals pressed standing out sweating from the music ranging from lyrical to chilling. VLAD Ill definitely knows how to throw his voice around with a uniqueness that you can't put in a box and the choice of effects that accent his words perfectly and are used in spots that add to his overall feel. His horrorcore is also abstract and walks the line of dopeness. It works with the unique element of his voice. His rhyme schemes are also solid too. Can't mess with these soundscapes; they are stamped in by their focus (as stated earlier) but all different but branded by ObscureDwella with the type of sound he was trying to get out of this one and they also seem to inspire elements within his vocal performances. Check it out!

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "The 11th Day" Taiyamo Denku X Bo Faat

This album is next level, not just for Taiyamo Denku and Bo Faat, but for anyone trying to create an album. It was created from start to finish by both Bo Faat in 11 days, hence the title. These guys have done so many projects together that have reached the highest of heights, but this one maybe the one that has reached the highest. It showcases maybe more reality than Taiyamo has ever let us see in one project and was made out of his raw confidence. He even plucked at his vocal cords for some singing in which he pulled of masterfully.  Denku is an abstract artist with such an effortless delivery that showed abstract vulnerability which is not often projected by MCs (no features too). You should definitely add it to your playlist. Now that we've talked about the vocals, the beats created by Bo Faat are dope af and layered with perfection. Each sound selected and each transition attempt, performed like techniques of the highest master of a Mo Gwoon (a Kung Fu dojo). Check it out!

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Tough Love" by Garcia Vega prod. by DustDimaggio

This EP is smoldering with 11 minutes of 38 seconds of straight fire that could start a fire burning down houses. It think it is definitely refreshing, it plays like a continual poetic cypher sticking to a theme and dropping his lyricism mixed with ideas sampled by other speakers (in songs and between songs). It is interesting how he put it all together and didn't make a normal project with two to three verses connected by a hook. It sort of plays to the way society is now, lack of patience and just want to be entertained by a short video or TikTok offering to move onto the next one. His vibes are definitely underlined and lyricism could hold a candle to anyone that does it. The project mos def makes you yearn for more. I think this is a great promo project and I hope it is a promo to what he is going to bring in the future. DustDimaggio also brings a refreshing take on the boom bap style of beats that help give this project a cinematic feel and a commanding soundscape to present Garcia Vega's ideas in mucial form. Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "At Eternity's Gate" VersaTilla & Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha

Another dope EP from Voodoo Docterz, this time the duo of VersaTilla & Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha bringing that untouchable sound. I think it is dope how VersaTilla used the original names of the beats created by Skinny and made a project of deep aggressive lyrical content. This write-up is long overdue, the project was released in February but doesn't mean we can't bring some new ears to it. It has top tier features from Portarok, JuleUnique (Wu Tang Affiliate), & White Lotus matching VersaTilla bar for bar lyrically and adding dope schemes to boot. Skinny Bonez brings it again with the barrage of boombapstic beats where the bass hits and instrumentation and character around each beat is GOATly laid out like unbreakable concrete foundations. Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Degenerate, Godless" Donny G X BK Bonez

Donny G and Bk Bonez back at it again with a lyrical boombapstic EP. These two out of Grave Wax Music never disappoint...using fellow group mate (of Grave Wax Music) Marz One for the only feature in this project. If I haven't said it before, Donny G is a master in writing verses and hooks. My favorite is "A Loyal Grave" it's a dope Grave Wax Music anthem unlike any other created before it. The bass and guitar in this one stands out on this track. The bass you can tell is human made, the character behind each note stands out in a realm of perfection. Instrumental-wise, this might be my favorite effort out of Grave Wax Music. It helps to have Donny G on every track giving the beat what it needs (and often exceeding). It has everything you want out of a Hip Hop jaunt, great production, lyrics, rhyme schemes, vibes, and a consistency that keeps rolling like a well made movie. Now go and cop a CD...don't be shy haha

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "The Godather & The Don 2" EP by M Doc Diego and Skinny Bonez Tha Godfather

This is the sequel to their first EP of "The Godfather &The Don". M Doc Diego delves deeper into the streets and what it means to be apart of that kind of life. It's definitely a lyrical piece of supreme grimey proportions. The feature of Slik Jack is top notch lyricism with dope rhyme schemes that hits hard. PiFF Penny is solid on his effort breathing good energy on the track. Eclyse helps bring those bars that touch on the essence of Hip Hop  behind the lyrics of M Doc Diego's essence that he brings; they both include bars about the fake kats / unskilled bars that vomit all over the steps of Hip Hop. Skinny Bonez brings the landscape of sound that creates a perfect canvas for the colors of the stories to hold this solid effort all together. This hardcore album is definitely different than the Griselda train of thought that many have copied and jumped on in hopes to find their own shine. So check it out!

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Abstract Verbalism" by Eclyse X Ginsing

Abstract Hip Hop is practically a genre of it's own that makes you think about Kool Keith, Q-Tip, El-P, and MF Doom. Mostly these artists are usually your favorite artist's favorite artist and there isn't much monetary value behind the releasing of this type of music. It is why very few artists sail into these abstract waters. Eclyse and Ginsing make a well-rounded lyrically abstract project that sonically matches the vibes brought by the vocals. All in all the tracks have a very chill feel to them that aim to show you a different approach to writing lyrical boom bap bars. Eclyse gives you a glimpse of things he has done and how his mentality is when he takes on a track and how he is confident in his wielding of words. So roll up your blunts and get your neck brace ready because you'll definitely be bobbin' your head to this one excessively.

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "MOMMY ONLY MAKE LEGENDS" by Emerg Da MC prod. by Kiza G Beats

Emerg Da MC raps like no other in the game today or maybe even ever. His rhyme schemes often stand tall amongst the many themes and meanings that get jam-packed in each verse that he pens. I think this project is the best representation of his style done more geared towards a casual Hip Hop listener (meaning it is easier for a wider range of listeners to be drawn to this rather than just Hip Hop Heads). Not just this, Kiza G Beats and Emerg Da MC also seem to be really hitting that deep stride of chemistry. There quite possibly no producer out there now that understands Emerg like he does. Check it out!

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Kayfabe Is Dead" by Empire Vs. Dr G

Empire (Gamblez and Hectik) take on the famed UK producer Dr. G out of the UK in this soundscape that is themed around wrestling. It is a lyrical gem with some hard-hitting beats that stays on the gas the whole way through. The intro features a sound bite of Harlem Heat (multi-tag team champions in the WCW, Booker T and Stevie Ray), it also is littered with other gems, like Hawk from Legion of Doom (or Road Warriors) and the "Ravishing" Rick Rude. Dr. G does a great job in showcasing that retro feeling inside his beats staying true to the theme. There are many strong features as well on this project (it says it is an EP, but it is really an LP) that add to the potency of the Hip Hop that is displayed on this effort with; Big Noyd, Ill Bill, Skull Bludgeon, info, DJ TMB, Billy Rosco, Dystrakted, DJ Taebo Manuhs, Blaq Poet, Sevin Soprano, Chris Rivers, and Kenny Brazil. This is definitely a project you don't want to miss, so check it out!

He's dope in his own right and on this project, Donny G and Scott Bluntz are both heaters in every song.  This project represents Hip Hop and music to its fullest with a show of aggressive poetry and well-produced tracks of pure artistry. Donny G does the beats justice for this project that he also delivers a great project to send off his comrad in proper fashion that prolly makes the family and friends of this MC, Scott Bluntz, proud. Dopeness added by features from Kabal, L.E.O. , and Illtemper, so check it out and do be afraid to get this vinyl, either!

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Tha Scheme of Things" by Marz One and Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha

This new project is potent like 151 proof Bacardi rum, it will lyrically fuck you up if you are a wack MC or producer. Marz One, born on the same day as Bob Marley (as stated in "Ballpoint") brings a lyrical power that can only be wielded in that Neo-Boom Bap style beat that Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha floods the track with. The production is amazing, bringing big sounds and well selected samples from the shores that Skinny lands on like Duyfken from exploring music like an uncharted land (which is one of the greatest parts of being a producer, listening to a ton of music to find samples). You should definitely check it out, it contains one feature, Gamblez (another collaborator of Skinny's).

It starts off with an aggressive lyrical banger in "Steven Seagal", cuts by DJ Grazzhoppa and continues on as well-produced and well-written EP that deserves to be appreciated by the masses. It features a catalog of underground stars such as G Fam Black, ethemadassassin, Southside Jonesy, LuGhz, Bobby Craves, and Guy Grams.  The production is on point and the street poetry filled with metaphors and similes that are as clever as any MC to ever grace the mic.

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Starvin Hagler" by G Fam Black X Flu

This a project from G Fam Black of Brockton, Massachusetts and Flu from Melbourne, Australia. This particular art piece out of the G Fam Black 30 + collection of pieces of Hip Hop projects, "Starvin Hagler" is a project used as tribute to Marvelous Marvin Hagler, one of four fighters given the title of "The Fabulous Four" who ruled the ring in the 80s. He had a reign of six years and seven months as the middleweight champion from 1980 to 1987. His last match being defeated by the great Sugar Ray Leonard (also a member of "The Fabulous Four").  The sound bites alone will take you back to a time period where Hip Hop started to take its form as a fighter in the music arena and make this project worth listening to. It is a great honor to be apart of a project like this, I am sure for the both of them and G Fam Black does his part as being lyrically hardcore like a head chopping 80s boxer. Flu adds in the soundscape around this project to perfection, I'd definitely have to say he wins the best production of the year on just the fact of being so focused on the topic. Together they create not just an album but an embodiment of one of the greatest fighters of all time. It was a pleasure to listen to this one...check it out!

The soundscapes are top notch as well as the lyrical content bringing this neo-boom bap musical offering to the highest of heights that this new community has to offer (there is a huge underground Hip Hop movement that is happening that touches all corners of the globe in case you haven't noticed). The features seem very calculated and meld together like a metallic alloy, seemlessly. Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Black Magick Voodoo Centipede Ritual" by Emerg Da MC X BK Bonez

It's quite an interesting title to a very unique artist in Emerg Da MC, who The People's Theorem has been following since his discovery. He's very busy doing back-to-back albums from Kiza G Beats and BK Bonez as well as offering up feature verses for other artists. He is always touching on the topics that linger in the shadows; one's that you will not read in a newspaper or see on televised news. His observations are unique to his perspective living in two of the biggest major cities in the US in Atlanta and New York. He doesn't ever shy away from one of his main themes of African American systematic racism and his topics are their presentation are ones you will not typically see on radio (or even internet radio) platforms. This project is no different, Emerg Da MC is an abstract-minded artist on the top of the food chain. Check it out, another solid effort out of these two.

Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Passion for the Pen" Pen Lordz x Kheyzine

You gotta check this project out, Pittsburgh duo, Pen Lordz being lyrical beasts in Arsinel and Fam Ross. They use a New York style of aggressive street poetics. They aren't afraid to attack fake mfs nor are they afraid to use more modern Neo Boom Bap type "boom boom" and "skiiiirt" type adlibs, but the way they spit takes them away from the biter conversation (in my book); they have their lyrical skills to fall back on (which there is plenty on this project). It's a dope background and sounds and samples that plays a perfect part as a brush of the canvas behind the words written from the pen; Kheyzine is always dope. It also features dope verses from Grey Phox and JINNAHCIDE.

Boom Bap is still an artform that is clawing its way to stay in the ears to anyone willing to lend an ear to listen. Underground Hip Hop Bandcampers: "Snake Charmer Paradox" Marz One & BK Bonez

Snake Charmer Paradox is a continuation of lyrical reflection as heard in their last project, Prima Donna Shangri-La. What has changed is, Marz One now resides in Arizona and time has given him a bigger stretch to put his thoughts, reflections, and observations to the paper and pen, where his artistry lives. He also features his fellow Grave Wax Music members in Donny G and Emerg Da MC. BK Bonez layers the landscape on which Marz One's words touch down on in a fashion that makes sense each step of the way. His use of sounds and instruments and samples are always on a higher wavelength and stir emotions that accompany the lyrics. You should definitely check it out and buy it if you feel you should support their movement.

This particular series is aimed at directing your eyes towards Bandcamp, a venue used by the underground to sell their music. When an underground artist sells their music, it is not only for them to make music, it is most importantly used to fund their love for music. They use these funds for studio time, studio equipment, music videos, and the ability to create and/ or be a part of an event (whether it be in town, at a festival, or for a tour). It is extremely difficult to come up with the funds for an artist especially ones with families. Hip Hop Streaming Dicoveries: "A.NY Ghetto USA" by Tree Mason and Spanish Ran

Tree Mason and Spanish Ran make a good project here. Tree Mason is a more organic and chill vibed drug street slap type shit. A little mix of "Neo Boom Bap" and old classic artistic approach to his mic presence. He talks for the blocks but also with a good touch of good vibes too that spring forth just like old Cali conscious blunted raps. He also has a touch of that aggression, but he's very balanced in his music and potent in his metaphors and poetry. Spanish Ran the master of delay uses it more like a background that gives it a podium echo feel to it...makes it feel even more classic. Bloo Azul also graces himself over one of the tracks as the lone feature. The flavors on this is dope, but you'll have to check it out for yourself.

New Underground Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Holy City Zoo" by Al Doe prod. by Spanish Ran

The single "Coi Leray" was covered by the blog and is fire which is the third song on this album. Al Doe offers his tough-hardcore-drug raps over Spanish Ran production that come together and cook a nice brick for you all to listen to. Al Doe shows you that street life of dealing drugs and underlines the stresses and dangers that come with this life using metaphors that a wide audience can relate to that they can learn from this sort of life with his use of pop culture masterfully in his metaphors. His schemes and lyrical are big and his chorus's are dope. It is banger after banger with Spanish Ran who creates an amazing soundscape and I can't say this enough; his use of delays in the vocals and on certain pieces of his sound is on a level that I have never heard before and makes him a very unique person to make a project with. None of his projects sound the same and he captures the personality of each artist he works with. There is only one feature from Ab- Soul on "The Pope and The Pastor"; it's a fire ass song. New Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Derange Poems of Sadness" by Lunatic

It's a dope display of Neo Boom Bap and what Hip Hop is supposed to be. His adlibs are more than effective and the power of voice exists with each track and has grimey rough edges to it. It's obvious that a lot of time was spent on the engineering his vocals to perfection to get every piece of character and every ounce of energy out of his vocals. This is worthy of anyone's rotation. New Underground Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Sound Check" by Akil The MC

Though this album dropped in Nov. 2016, it has just been added recently on Spotify. It's a dope ass album starring Akil The MC of Jurassic 5, a legendary Hip Hop group out of Los Angeles, CA (in case you didn't know). On his own, Akil The MC has a lot to say and project lyrically; social commentary, state of Hip Hop (what each region is doing singularly), the mission of his album, misconceptions about Hip Hop, and just spitting knowledge. It's beat selection is quite interesting using a lot of non-conventional sounds to create the soundscape, but it also draws on sampling as well as 808s too. His flows are equally interesting; he sprays his words in a style that can be described as foundational as well as more contemporary in nature. It still has that funky signature sound that drew me to Jurassic 5 when my eardrums first caught their sonic experience (which is what Jurassic 5 did, create a listening experience). I love the addition of "Apology"; a spoken word offering that sounds like someone on the phone talking in your ear...it's dope. It features Wordsworth and Miss A. Don't sleep on this, check it out!

Underground Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Animal Farm" by Pestilence x Boomtact

"Animal Farm" is a worthy Hip Hop album; I think the Nine Muses would be proud. It is part meaningful, poetic, hardcore, horrorcore, and potent as poison. After the intro, "Hiss" comes on which is also the single for the album, and it hits the eardrum with some phat bass coupled with masterful lyrics and rhyme schemes. Pestilence is a dope MC that is percentagely cut like a pie and the pieces are, meaningful, poetic, rhyme schemes, lyrics, hardcore, horrorcore, smooth (not overly aggressive or soft spoken), and adlibs. He writes a great chorus like in "Raccoons" and the whole project is spread over dope beat choices and features. Boomtact produces a comprehensive soundscape that suites Pestilence 100% and features by Dtaylz the Profit (on 2 tracks), Xecutive, Super Ego Beats, DJ Toxic T (on the turntables), Marz One, Space Kase, Czaro the Infinite, and Gamblez all adds dope elements to the project as a whole. Underground Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Prime Imporium" by Mo Rukuz prod. by BoFaat

Prime Imporium by Mo Rukuz and beats by BoFaat dropped by Goon MuSick (Snowgoons) is a dope grimey representation of boom bap Hip Hop culture. Mo Rukuz speaks on the pain of always hovering in the street life with the raspy voice of a dude that was shot or stabbed in the throat (a great representation of his gutter existence with the gutteral).  He brings on his Grimewav-mate Frank White to represent and bring a solid feature for the project.  The Suspect Allegedly also brings his high-noted voice to grace track #6 with dark themes straight out the catacombs. A-God The Old Soul brings his lyrical presence to the mic with a bit of science on "Science of Osiris". Daniel Son ( the Toronto veteran MC) also steps into a feature on this project with his brand of high energy lyrical Hip Hop. His features close off with Lynguistic Venom who brings a fluid beat. "Pain In My Heart" features the always dope cuts from ToneSpliff. BoFaat helps raise this project into the stars like an asteroid with his cemented soundscape that is perfect for the grimey-nature of this album. Don't sleep on this album that has been 2 years in the making, check it out!

New Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "A Life Less Ordinary" Kenneth Masters X Bo Faat

The People's Theorem has waited long for this to be more publicized for the public to more easily get the plug on this gem. It was dropped exclusively on Chopped Herring Records (out of the UK), but now it is available to stream on all streaming platforms. Kenneth Masters and Bo Faat go all in on this one, they make music that works so well, most can only dream of reaching this level of chemistry. It is also a homage to technology of old, being spit on reel to reel (if you don't know, look it up). Most artists are sunk into digital means due to economic, convenience, and easier usability, but nothing compares to that analog sound. To sum it up, just check this shit out!

New Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Rabbit Stew" by Bleach & Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha

A dope Hip Hop single off the new project from Bleach and Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha, "Moral Compass". This single is a lyrical barrage by Bleach and his co-conspirators, L.E.O. and Bobby Craves also featuring cuts by DJ Cold Crush. Once you work with Bleach, you are a part of his greater Hip Hop family to which he gives love to all that are involved in his music which extends to giving love to their music. "Rabbit Stew" hits different with the production lead by Skinny Bonez, giving it a layer of raw Boom Bap that adds to the experience to listening to their music, to which he never goes half-in (he's always all-in).

New Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Deadly Duos" by Bo Faat

This write-up is long overdue, first off, and second off, this album is dope. You can tell Bo Faat went all out for this one, using artists that he has worked with and spread them throughout this whole exhibit of Hip Hop supremacy. He personally said he was excited about this project, because he spent a lot of time and money on making sure this project was a proper offering to the gods of Hip Hop. You won't find many albums that came out on 2022 that can hold a candle to this album. make sure you check it out, enjoy!

"Thoughts" by Jafet Muzic & DNA Beatz is a dope lyrical reflective song about thoughts of an artistic MC in reflection over a powerful Boom Bap beat. New Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Comic Book Villain" by K-Rime & Stu Bangas (EP)

Dope EP that's easy-going yet aggressive.  The production is better than most underground work, Stu Bangas is the master of adding accenting hits throughout a track. This EP features two MCs in Willie Stubz and Hugh Stone both add their masterful mic presence.  K-Rime is for sure on my radar. It's funny how New York is still so vibrant full of underground gems to dig up and discover.  There are still so many that stay loyal to the East Coast boom bap sound, both regional and out of region. The track, "The Merciless" is bananas, the drums and bass stand out. Lyrically he's on point, top of the world amongst the struggles of the world and society (would be the best way to explain it). Check it out!

New Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "PExRL JVM" by O the Great & Machacha

Another dope album from O the Great out of New York and produced by Machacha is a dope project coming out of the underground of Hip Hop. You can feel his New York roots and you can definitely feel the heat he carries from the torch that is clutched by the hand of this NY MC. Where there is a lot in the underground that is a copy of Griselda these days, he shines a light on metaphors and the true confidence of Hip Hop in his storytelling and aggressive battle raps. The beats give the songs the cement they need for a strong foundation, but that is not saying they are just good enough, they are amazing. Check it out!

New Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Last Dayz On Earth" by Saint Feddy prod. by E_Buddha (EP)

Decent EP...starts off as a poetic beatless poem on reflection.  Pretty cool way to start it all off, not your cookie cutter beginning. Saint Feddy is very in touch with himself and his experiences. He's got all the aspects of being an ill lyricist; he takes risks (that pay off), good lyrical content, cadence, and rhyme schemes. He spits about stuff that is pretty much relevant for any Hip Hop Head or casual listen. E_Buddha makes dope beats that accompany his poetic lyrical journey concocted out of artistry and creativity. Saint Feddy for sure feels free on a track and unapologetic (he's not the best singer but he makes it work). Check it out!

New Hip Hop Streaming Discoveries: "Once in a Bloo" Bloo Azul & Spanish Ran (EP)

A dope collab from Bloo Azul on the mic and Spanish Ran on the controls in the form of an EP. Though it is 10 tracks, it only clocks in at 27+ minutes. It only has one feature in Rasheed Chappell on the fifth track, "Possibilities". All in all it is dope, samples are beyond next level and the use of delay is masterful by Spanish Ran. It gives it an airy feeling, much like a mirror to a room making it appear bigger. Lyrically, Bloo Azul forms good messages, observations, and insights that only one who is dedicated to their craft, can. Check it out!

New Hip Hop Music Videos 2023: "Not Today" by M-Dot prod. by Black Milk

M-Dot and Black Milk go hard on this one, the schemes of M-Dot are crazy good. He challenges his speed and breath control and performs like a Hip Hop legend. Black Milk is a Hip Hop beast on the mic and on the beats and shows why he is still a sought-after producer on this one. As a pair, this is just as good as anything M-Dot has ever come out with (being that he has worked with so many legendary producers). New Hip Hop Music Videos 2023: "Follow My Lead" Taiyamo Denku ft. Fredro Starr prod. by Bo Faat

These two Hip Hop giants collide with the beat by Bo Faat and create an explosion of masterful sound. The production, mixing, and mastering is as good as anyone in the game (higher level shit). The lyrical content is also top notch, with Hip Hop pioneers Taiyamo Denku and Fredro Starr on the track-- it's not a surprise. They are both tough and can't be tested, I know these two have mad respect for eachother being labelmates and all. Taiyamo is an underrated MC from Wisconsin that 100 Mad fave him love and a contract as well as work in mixing and mastering, they collab a lot, and do live shows a lot. Both these dudes put in the work. I told Taiyamo Denku that shit would be different for him if he was from New York but his hustle has brought him a lot of respect. He has put Wisconsin on the map with Cyphaden Music. Don't sleep, seriously. Check it out!

As M-Dot prepares to embark on yet another European tour, he delivers a monster visual produced by legendary producer Pete Rock, whom he met back in 2017 while on the same show in Switzerland. As the story goes, the two showed mutual admiration for their music, keeping in touch and eventually leading to their first collaboration “The Atonement.” The single, a semi-automatic barrage of bars, demonstrates M-Dot flexing crazy patterns and internal rhymes atop Pete’s fittingly chilling instrumental, garnered heavy accolades landing on several "song of the year" lists when it dropped.

I listened to this song almost first thing in the morning and it is perfect for that. It is true...too many people try to act hard and they don't know what their projection can lead to and aren't ready when the path is paved. Very good message and song all around.

Denku has a vault that puts other rappers and MCs regular catalog to shame. This was just a song back in the day collecting dust...oh the irony. It was done 15 years ago with a producer named Rob the Viking and another MC, Syntax Mastery. Every thing was dope on this track and it shows that Denku has always been dope. New Hip Hop Music Videos 2023: "Coi Leray" by Al-Doe & Spanish Ran

Not exactly a music video, more like a single, but that doesn't change the fact that this deserves shine. Al-Doe takes you on a journey through his coke raps that is highly enjoyable to listen to and I am not one to gravitate towards this style of shit, but this song is dope. It brings original flavors to coke rap subject matter, especially backed by Spanish Ran production where he wields his delay heavy signature style that only he can. The pop culture metaphors within the track paint pictures that you can visualize. Check it out!

New Hip Hop Music Videos 2023: "Silver Bullet" by M-Dot prod. by Pro Knows Music

I almost forgot (we're all human right?), "Silver Bullet" which is the first single off M-Dot's newest album. It shows the struggles that he goes through just to survive and it is visually a great metaphor about how he has to fight to keep the monsters at bay (i.e. werewolf). It's a brilliant depiction of struggle using a werewolf in which a human has to always struggle keeping the monster away but even full moons cone and there is nothing that can stop it but a silver bullet. He is the silver bullet that keeps himself intact and that is sort of a realization that all human beings have to derive to, to fully understand survival. This is probably his most artistic revelation he has ever made...a magnum opus of a song. Not only are his lyrics powerful but so is the beat...with the studder delay usage on the guitar, it also supports the story cause it gives the beat the feeling that it is barely holding together too. So check it out, Don't snore on this one!

The video is an animated experience that cements the trio as top-notch artists in the game in which they point out using metaphors themed off wrestling metaphors. It's a very unique bond of greatness and they want you to know that they are great too and it works.  I can't wait for the whole project to come out in which this track is also the title track for the EP which is Gamblez and Hectick and produced by Dr. G in it's entirety.
