Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha never does a project that goes half in, this one just like all his previous ones go all in with the MC, Piff Penny. This one has a number of good features as well in Daz Jones, Syymphony, Scotty Beamin, Cage, M Doc Diego with cuts by Daz Jones as well on the first track.
"Squad Up" is a dope song showing you can't do this alone so squad up cause they coming with their dope brand of New York boom bap style Hip Hop. "Warm Meal" is a testimony of survival in the streets and how it is such a struggle each and everyday just to get home. For a regular dude, it's true too this song is a metaphor about what they do it all for, work to get home to their family and spend time with the ones they love.
"Shakespeare" is a good vibed song for the ladies using Shakespeare as to showcase not only that Shakespeare deserves his respect, but he is "romantic" and poetic just like these MCs on this track. "Neff Went" a storytelling rap about his Nephew and his hustle. "You Been Gone" is about someone whose been locked away for a long time and all his loved are preparing for his home coming.
All in all this is a dope effort that is 100% pure Hip Hop from the 90s and early 2000s, where storytelling, love, vibes, and lyrical showcase was all on our plates to eat if you were a pure Hip Hop Head. Check it out!
