Thrust OG is like his name, an OG. "Rapper's Delight" lit a fire in 1979 that would open the US (especially) and the world up to Hip Hop. When that hit the radio in America, it spread like wildfire. Everyone wanted to hear the new fresh Hip Hop and / or be the one who was creating the new music for the genre.
Thrust OG is a legend, he's toured with some of the best that the US has to offer. It shows in his delivery and his artistry and this project is no different. From the opening track, "You Want More?" talks about how potent he is as an MC compared to most. "Knowledge Reigns Supremely" is perfect for the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop paying homage to the MC and the culture in general. The beat is perfect with a good positive vibe with a triumphant element to it. He's god some amazing features from Urban Legend, Taiyamo Denku, G Fam Black, Kenneth Masters, and the legend Kinetic 9.
